The stress breath throws body pH off balance, causes neck and shoulders tension/pain, leads to headaches, insomnia, poor digestion and much more.
Yogic breathing therapy targets the parasympathetic nervous system aiming to release the body/mind from the stress response. Teaching the mind proper breathing techniques helps us manage stress more effectively and reduces the amount of time our bodies spend in fight or flight mode which ultimately leads to full body/mind healing.
