Yeah I’m not really a matcha kind of girl. I recognize the healthy properties but that flavor is just not something I can get over…as a drink. So when presented with a bag full of matcha powder I had to come up with some unique ways to use it up. Guess what? I actually had fun and totally enjoyed my results 🙂
This is my favorite matcha recipe and I’m pretty sure that this is going to have me purchasing a new bag in the very new future.
If you know me then you know I do not have a sweet tooth, so this recipe is, like matcha itself, on the savory side of things with the fresh fruit adding that subtle sweetness.
If you are not a fan of lavender have no fear it can be left out and in fact my first variation of this recipe was made with a simple almond milk pudding. However I happen to believe that lavender and green tea are a match made in heaven!
